We introduced the 1650mm high door which is available in two width’s 600mm and 750mm. The new 1650mm high door will replace the current 1600mm high door. The purpose of the change is to enable full length 58 watt fluorescent light tubes to be fitted to the insert frame which results in a much brighter, more even distribution of light over the product being displayed.
June 2005
We began Argon filling our glass panels which can increase glass panel performance by 10 - 15% by increasing the surface temperature of the outer glass which is critical to condensation resistance. The closer the outer glass temperature is to room temperature the less electrical energy that is required to eliminate condensation. Argon filling also protects the Low E coatings and other materials on the inside of the sealed unit for greater longevity.
May 2005 We began using latest technology Warm Edge Spacer in our glass panels which replaces the old style aluminium spacer bar combined with desiccant. The new warm edge spacer reduces heat transfer between the glass panes which in turn reduces the amount of electrical energy required to offset that transfer meaning lower running costs for you the consumer.
March 2005

July 2004
we began fitting Adjustable Heat controls to all of our heated glass inserts because we realise that not all of our customers have an air conditioning system that operates 24Hrs a day and any glass door insert that claims to be energy efficient will be designed to operate in air conditioned conditions. If it is designed to cope with "any" conditions the chances are it will be using far more electrical energy than is required. When ordering products from Maslen Australia we ask our customers about the temperature and humidity conditions at the designated site and engineer the heating of the insert to suit those conditions. If the conditions change our product is also capable of changing.
